We are all looking for
ways to improve our lives and we are constantly given tips and advice on how we
may get healthier or how we can improve our fashion or style. With all of the
different places offering advice, it can be confusing and conflicting. Some
people may turn to magazines or friends and others will look for online
information via blogs.
Looking to improve
your lifestyle in any form can be a big decision and for a lot of people it
will come down to wanting to change they way they look or eat. Choosing a
healthier way of life has become a top priority for most people as we all seek
out the best place for advice and to teach ourselves the skills we need to
achieve our health goals.
Looking online at
blogs for fashion advice and tips is often a great starting place, we have the
chance to find out about a range of different subjects, often covered by
extremely passionate people. For example if you decide you want to get fitter,
you will be able to go online and find out about the best exercise plan for
you, all of which will eventually help you improve your health and fitness
levels.
Fashion is another
place we often look to when we want to enhance our lifestyle. Clothes have the innate
ability to make us feel special, confident and unique or individual. Many of us
do not take the time to think about buying clothes that suit our personalities
and finding inspiration and advice from an expert can be a liberating
experience.
Wear Simple But Not Too Casual Clothes - The words 'simple' and 'too casual' are often interchanged when it comes to dressing up. Dressing simply would mean avoiding use of too much accessories or getting fond of details that in your shirt, pants and/or jacket that they no longer complement. As for being too casual looking, you would want to avoid looking boring with your faded jeans and shirts. Put on a striped polo shirt and a well-pressed dress pants to break your usual wear when you run errands.
Shorter women might sometimes feel that they get lost in the
crowd. Taking advantage of a few of these hints to help make you look taller
can be great in creating the illusion of a couple extra inches.
Wearing ankle boots
with shorts or mini skirts on bare legs is considered somewhat of a no-no
according to the fashion world. These bulky boots make you appear shorter when
worn on bare legs. If you want to wear them with shorts, try wearing some
tights that match the boots. As obvious, high heels are also a great way to
look a little taller. Bulky shoes with heels may defeat the purpose, so the
sleeker the shoes, the better.
If you love long
dresses, but don't have the height to pull it off, try wearing some heels that
show your toes. Another tip is to try to divide the top of your body and the
bottom in contrasting colors. This will make your lower half appear longer -
for example, wearing short shorts that just come down to the top of your waist.
Wearing long shirts will make you appear shorter.
If you look good in dark colors, awesome. Don't listen to me!
However, choosing the same colors for
jackets and pants that are the same hue is also a really good idea as well
because you aren't sectioning off areas. It's all ONE area which makes you look
sinner. You can also wear blouses in a contrasting color as well if you needed
to add a flair of drama to the outfit. When choosing colors and pattern think
vertical not horizontal. Bold buttons down the jacket or shirt, a long
necklace, vertical stripes - these are all ways to think vertical and they can
help tremendously! It's also important to wear colors that you feel good in.
So let me share with
you some fashion tips in this article.
You Won't Go Wrong
With Black and White
Most people are 'color
blind'. They just don't know how to choose the best color combination. Are you
helpless with color too? If that is the case, here is my advice for you. If in
doubt, just pair black with white. This 'black and white' color combination
works in most situations.
Choose The Right Pair
of Spectacles
From time to time, I
find myself scratching my head. I cannot understand why people can spend so
much time hunting for the perfect outfit and yet they just wear a plain old
pair of spectacles. Don't do yourself a disservice. Go and upgrade your
spectacles. Get something more fashionable.
You Can Learn A Lot On
The Internet
Without a doubt, the
internet is an information treasure house. If you want to learn more about
fashion, just sit behind the computer and use the internet. In fact, if you
just spend one hour on Youtube, you should be able to pick up at least one or
two fashion tips that you can start using today.
You Can Learn A Lot
from Your Friends
There is only so much
that you can learn from the internet because the internet does not know who you
are. Everyone is different. For example, some people are short and some people
are tall. A fashion tip that is suitable for someone else may not necessary be
suitable for you.
That is why there are
a lot of things that you can learn from your friends. You friends know who you
are and they will be able to give you a 'customized solution'. Of course, you
should only listen to friends who know how to dress well.
Don't Be Afraid to Try
Out New Style
Sometimes, you need to
try out a few styles to find out what suits you best. You will usually know the
answer by the feedback that you receive from your friends.
